Hi everyone -

I will be doing my first major show of the summer season on Sunday May 17th in Woodstock, IL.
The show runs from 10 am - 5 pm in the historic Woodstock Square.
I will have a lot of things available including patriotic designs with matching hairbows.

I have gotten a ton of new fabric recently and I will be focusing on making boy's shorts over the next few weeks.

I will have an update in the next couple of weeks on a couple of wonderful new designs I have in the works.

I will be down in Elmhurst on Thursday night doing a show at Visitation Catholic Church. This show benefits the Visitation CCW. It costs $5 to get in but there are food, drinks and door prizes.
The show runs from 7 pm - 10 pm.

New website launch

After long last, my husband and I finally got my new website up and running. I am pretty excited about it. It's main purpose will be for custom ordering. There is a fabric gallery and a style gallery that allow you to pick you favorite fabric and favorite style to create your very own unigue outfit. .

I am excited to introduce a new style for spring/summer that I think is adorable and looks like it would be sooo comfy to wear.

Website update and first show of the season

Well, the website isn't coming along as quickly as I had hoped. My husband is creating a site from scratch for me and it is hard to find the time for the 2 of us to sit down and work on it. But I am hoping to have it up and going within the next couple of weeks.

I will hopefully be participating in my first craft show of the season at Fremd High School in Palatine on Saturday March 7th from 9 am - 4 pm. I will have St. Paddy's days outfits, some Easter things and hopefully a couple of new products (aprons). I would to see some of you there!

I will be bringing my stamping supplies along now and making personalized shirts like these below for people. I expect prices to be $6 for onesies and $10 for shirts.

Well, I am done with shows for the year. I hope to start back up again in March/April. I need to decide what type of shows I will be doing but right now I am leaning towards more art fair, juried shows if I can afford them.

Anyway, I will be keeping my blog updated through out the winter as I start making my new products. I will have fabrics available for Valentine's Day, St. Paddy's Day, Easter, etc.

Here are a few of my ideas for my spring line:
several new patterns for dresses and skirts
aprons for kids
matching hats
matching purses
more styles and designs of hairbows

I will also be unveiling my new website sometime in January. It will be easier to use and better to look at!

Hairbows!

Welcome to the world of hairbows.

I decided at my last show to start making hairbows to compliment my outfits. I am having a lot of fun doing this. I have about 30 bows done now and hope to have at least 60 done before my next show on the 18th.

Shows, shows, and more shows

I am so sorry that I have not updated much of anything these days. I have been in crunch time to get stuff ready for my shows that are coming up in the next couple of months. I have several new designs that I am excited to show off. My Halloween stuff is almost ready to debut and next week I will be working on shirts to match my new skirts.

I will hopefully be getting an email out to my mailing list with the shows I am doing and I will be posting the schedule here as well!

Apples Make Me Happy

I am going crazy with the apples.

I have 3 colors in the apple fabric. 2 are already in and one has been ordered.

These fabrics will be used as lining for denim dresses, for drop waist skirts with a bright solid fabric at the top and a fun shirt to match and as 3 tier skirts with a tier of each color. I can't wait to get started!!

Halloween Fabrics

I found a couple of pictures on-line of a couple of the Halloween fabrics I just picked up. I plan on making skirts and shirts to match. I will also be making lounge pants and shirts for boys out of some fun fabric.

I have about 12 outfits, dresses, skirts ready to post on Etsy. I wish it was a faster process. I always seem to get about half way done and something happens and I have to set the computer aside.
But I have several new things to put up with some of my new fabrics. I also got my shipments of new fabrics plus picked up some Halloween fabrics this weekend so I should be posting some new pictures in the next couple of days.
